Aaron Hoffman is a dedicated family man, business owner, and community leader who is committed to fiscal responsibility and community strength. As the CFO of Shelford Fisheries, a commercial fishing company, and co-owner of Sprig Beauty Co. with his wife, Alyssa, Aaron understands the challenges and rewards of running a business. In 2019, they opened Sprig Beauty Co. on 1st Street in Snohomish and have been deeply invested in supporting the local community ever since. He believes small businesses are the foundation of a strong town and is dedicated to ensuring they thrive.

Aaron graduated from the University of Washington with a degree in economics and has spent his career making sound financial decisions that promote stability and growth. He brings that same practical, results-driven mindset to his leadership approach.

Aaron and his family moved from Marysville to the historic district of Snohomish in 2020 and quickly fell in love with the town’s charm and tight-knit community. He and Alyssa are raising their three children—Ruby (9), Marigold (5), and Aksel (3)—with a strong focus on faith, family, and hard work. During the 2023-24 school year, he volunteered as a PE coach at his children’s school, finding another way to give back.

While Aaron doesn’t come from a political background, his focus has been on being a present husband and father, running a business, and prioritizing his family’s well-being. Now, with Alyssa homeschooling their children, they feel ready to take on this next chapter together, recognizing the changes happening in Snohomish and the importance of strong leadership.

A lifelong athlete, Aaron was a competitive pairs figure skater before transitioning to hockey as a teen. Today, he remains an avid skier, hiker, and fitness enthusiast who enjoys helping others on their wellness journeys.

Aaron is running for mayor because he believes in preserving what makes Snohomish special while ensuring smart, responsible growth. His leadership will focus on maintaining the town’s financial health, supporting small businesses, and keeping the community strong for generations to come.
